SIZE GUIDE,FITTINGS AND LEAD TIMES
All our designs are available in any size, we have two options
STANDARD SIZE OR CUSTOM SIZE
STANDARD SIZES
All styles come in standard sizes ranging from UK 6 to 20, with a length of 44’’ from waist to floor. Train lengths can vary between 13” and 17”. To find your size, please refer to the size chart below. If your measurements fall between two or three sizes, we suggest opting for the larger size. The size chart serves as a general guideline for overall fit, and alterations by a local seamstress, may be necessary to achieve your perfect fit.
If you wish to make any custom style adjustments, such as tailoring to your measurements or changing the style, please do not select a Standard size. Standard sizes are cut directly from our pattern block without any modifications to size or style.
After placing your order, I will need to confirm that the size you requested is accurate. Please send your measurements through our portal here. Keep in mind that no work will commence until I have received your basic measurements.
The Bespoke Fitting option is not available for standard sizes.
Typically, lead times for Standard Sizes are between 10- 12 weeks.
Please allow a minimum of 6 weeks before your wedding for any alterations by a local seamstress.
You can reach us at info@bibiluxestudio.com; please make sure our email doesn’t end up in your junk folder.
We do accept refunds on our standard sizes, minus a 50% restocking fee. For more details, please check our Delivery and Returns information.

CUSTOM SIZES and STYLE CHANGES
We also provide custom sizes and style modifications; any of our designs can be tailored to your specific measurements.
Lead times can differ, typically ranging from 12 to 16 weeks during peak season, and I recommend allowing 6 -8 weeks before your wedding for any extra alterations.
If your size or length is outside our standard size range, I suggest selecting 'custom' from the drop-down menu and submitting your measurements through our online measurement portal here.
Your order will be crafted according to the measurements you provide. However, please keep in mind that this does not guarantee a perfect fit based solely on your measurements (though I will do my utmost!).
Only in-person fittings can ensure this. You should plan and allocate time for fittings with a local seamstress, or you can choose my bespoke fitting service, details below.
I can also accommodate small design modifications, such as a raised back or a lower neckline; these will also be listed as 'custom' in the drop-down menu. Please reach out if you need more detailed style alterations or a bespoke design.
Your order confirmation email will include a link to my online measurement portal, where you will find all the measurements I require, along with instructions on how to take them. There is also a section on the form for any additional style changes.
Bespoke Fittings
If you're interested in booking my custom fitting and design service, please note that the price varies based on the complexity involved. This process may take an extra 4-8 weeks and is exclusively available for brides who order a custom size. This service is only available with my seamstress located near Southampton.
Here’s a basic cost guide for the fitting process:
1. The first fit includes a full-length calico fit toile (a mock-up made from cotton or a similar fabric) priced at £150, or a half-length version for £75.
The calico toile is tailored to your measurements Alternatively, it can be mailed to you, allowing you to have it fitted by a local seamstress (shipping costs will apply). This option is great if visiting my seamstress for fittings isn't feasible.
If a second fit toile is needed, the cost will be £45.
2. The in-person fitting for the calico toile is £65, lasting about 45-60 minutes.
3. After that, your garment will be cut. I recommend scheduling 1-4 fittings with her while your garment is being made. If any additional fittings are necessary, my seamstress will provide a quote for those.
4. The calico toile and the second fit with my seamstress are the minimum fittings I suggest, and we strive to achieve a great fit within those two sessions. But to achieve a perfect fit I recommend scheduling 2-4 fittings with her while your garment is being made.
5. Following the fitting, my seamstress will perform the alterations, which are complimentary for the first hour. After that, the charge is £30 per hour
6. Any design modifications during the fitting process with my seamstress will incur an extra charge of £30 per hour.
Please factor in time for these alterations when planning your wedding timeline.
Sometimes, you might need additional fittings after your dress arrives, possibly due to changes in weight. You can either seek help from a local seamstress for this or reach out to us to see if we have availability. There is an additional alterations fee after your dress is finished, which includes a £65 consultation and alterations charged at £35 per hour.
If you opt for 4 or more fittings this process would eliminate the need for any local seamstress costs.
Prices on fittings do not include VAT (which is charged at 20%).
